Moab is coming! (kind of)

I'm getting ready to head out to Moab, UT next week. I'm psyched!

You have to understand how cool Moab is to mountain bikers as well as how easy it used to be for me to head over there.

I moved here to Oregon from Colorado about 15 months ago. When I was in Colorado, it was only about 4 or 5 hours to Moab. You could head over after work (if you didn't mind getting in late). Now that's all changed.

It should take me about 16 hours of driving (according to Google Earth) to get to Moab from the Portland area, where I live. I'm not looking forward to the drive there, and I'm *really* not looking forward to the drive back (after 3 days in a row of riding!).

I guess I'll stop worrying like a girly-man and just enjoy the fact that it will be hot, and it will *not* be muddy! ;-)
